Argentinas is composed by 23 diferent provinces and its capital city: Buenos Aires. Each of this provinces has a subdivision called "departamentos" or "partidos".
Each one of the provinces represets an independent goverment. All provinces have their own law but this one can not go against the national one which is the one
that rules the country.
Besides Buenos Aires City (3.100.000 inhabitants), other important urban centers are: Córdoba (1.157.507 inhabitants) where the main economic source
is the industry, Rosario City (1.118.905 inhabitants) with one of the most important harbours in the country mainly use for corn, soy and wheat
exports, La Plata City (640.344 inhabitants) which is the capital of Buenos Aires Province, San Miguel de Tucumán City (622.242 inhabitants) it is also an important
industrial center, Mar del Plata City (519.707 inhabitants) is probably the main tourist center of the country, Salta City (373.857 inhabitants) is lacated
in the Argentinean Northwest and it is well known due to its arquitecture style, Mendoza City (728.966 inhabitants), capital of the province with the same name and located
close to the Andes mountain range, bases its economy on the wine production. To the South, in the Patagonia Region, the most populated city is the
Great Neuquén, with more than 300.000 inhabitants and its economy based on oil, gas and electricity production.
