just returned from a 6-day holiday in Buenos Aires, Argentina and a very pleasant stay at the Americas Towers Hotel. This was a "girl friend getaway" that was booked as a package, which included several tours.
We were greeted warmly and given a good sized room with very comfortable twin beds...on the back of the hotel..away from the busy street and very quiet. Since we had very busy days planned, it was so great to turn in to a nice quiet room to rest up for the next day's busy schedule. The bathroom was all marble, very clean, with a tub, shower, and bidet, with lots of vanity space for our cosmetics.
The front desk accomodated our every need from extra pillows & towels to recommending restaurants. They even called and made reservations for us on several occasions. They were always available for questions, and ready to get a taxi for us. We found the use of the internet in their business center in the lobby very helpful, especially for finding a local spa for a facial & massage on our last day.
The breakfast was in a lovely room downstairs, serving very good omlets, fresh fruits, cereals, yogurts, several kinds of fresh rolls and beads, juices, and the very best coffee (cafe con leche).
All in all, after staying at hotels around the world, this was a very nice European style hotel that I would highly recommend.
This hotel was really lovely. The room was spacious and very clean.
The breakfast was fantastic and the location perfect. It was in a wealthy suburb and very safe and in fantastic walking distance to many places.
The staff were arrogant, rude and obnoxious and this was disappointing. They were very unhelpful and asking a question was like asking them to go beyond the extra mile to answer. Customer service training is indeed required and I would fire those that work there now!!
Very centrally located hotel, great shopping and close to Recoleta. The room was clean and very well furnished. Breakfast was nothing special, but in general I would definitely stay in this hotel again.
