My wife and I spent a wonderful week in Buenos Aires, March 2 thru March 9, 2007 and stayed at the 725 which we enjoyed very much. The only glitch when we checked into our room was the bathroom which we found was a tad too small, but we were quickly switched to another room which was very adequate, indeed! Mostly pros for this hotel: it bills itself as a modern boutique hotel, and succeeds quite nicely, rooms spacious enough with nice linens; location is excellent if you fancy one right in the heart of the city; breakfasts (included in the rate) are first class - couldn't get enough of the liquid yogourt; fashionable lobby; helpful staff overall; an unbeatable rooftop pool and sunning area. What more do you really need? We even ate one night at the restaurant and had an outstanding meal. While the rate was a tad on the high side, I still would highly recommend the 725 for someone looking for a boutique type hotel in the downtown core.
